About Peckham Studios
A true community hub, Peckham Studios develops young people’s passion for music – giving them the opportunity to experiment in a fun and creative way – as well as nurturing the careers of up-and-coming local artists.
Peckham Studios is also a space for working musicians, providing professional recording facilities alongside a talented team of engineers – both are available to hire (at very affordable rates) – for first-rate music production.
The studio provides free music programmes for young people aged 13-25, due to funding from youth/arts organisations, as well as support from partners including The Rio Ferdinand Foundation, Katy B, community grants, and individual donations. The programmes include sessions on music development and song composition, as well as offering recording time and free rehearsal space.
